Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model from 11 November 1996. Her feature film debut was a tiny role in the Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). In the following film, she portrayed Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and in the Last Crusade 1989). Other roles include Siobhan Donavan as Charlotte in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody was invited by a photographer, and began to take on the role of model. Then she began her career as a commercial model. Doody was extremely cautious about doing the glamorous work or doing nude. The rule was extended to her acting career. Having come to the attention of the director who cast the upcoming James Bond film she accepted an unimportant role as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. In the year 1991, Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce in British mini-series Selling Hitler inspired by the published fraud known as The Hitler Diaries. The actress later relocated to Hollywood. She was chosen to replace Cybill Shepard as L'Oreal spokeswoman and went on to star opposite Charlie Sheen as Flannery, his girlfriend and agent in Major League II. Doody's first appearance on the big screen came in 2003 when Michael Caine played Doody in an uncredited role. She played alongside Patrick Swayze in a 2004 television movie adaptation to King Solomon's Mines and also appeared in a short film called Benjamin's Struggle (2005) a pamphlet on the Holocaust and also in the British TV series Waking the Dead (in a two-part show known as. Doody was in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. Doody appeared on RTE's Medical drama The Clinic. The project was later shelved. In 2011 she began the second season in the E4 comedy drama Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she appeared in We Still Kill the Old Way. Almeria film award, tierra de cine and an Almeria walk of fame star were presented on the 21st of November, 2018.
